The Usher Ministry volunteers serve by greeting members and guests and escorting them to their seats; distributing materials related to the worship service/meeting such as bulletins, handouts, etc.; maintaining alertness for any emergency that may arise, relieving the need or contacting the person(s) needed to provide the proper assistance; directing individuals out of the service/ meeting in an orderly fashion; and assisting with getting the sanctuary ready for the next service or meeting.

Our guest services team focuses on ensuring that the gospel is not only heard but also experienced by everyone who walks through the doors of Goshen.  With warm handshakes and welcoming smiles volunteers look and listen for ways to help. Volunteers assist with giving out bulletins and welcome packets; assist visitors in filling out registration cards; and lead out our guest welcome during the worship service.

Media Ministry is responsible for setup, maintenance, coordination, and use of the church’s audio, visual, media, and lighting technology used during services and for other special events. The ministry’s mission is to glorify God by ensuring that His Word and our praise and song to Him is seen and heard clearly and without distraction or interference within our local church and throughout the world as it’s broadcasted or distributed on media with the highest video and audio quality available. Volunteers can be trained.

Sabbath School is “the primary religious education program of the Church” (Church Manual, p. 97). Each Sabbath, the lesson of the week is explored, analyzed and better understood through active discussion. Sabbath School also emphasizes and share the world mission by reviewing a new mission story each week. Our Sabbath School program commences every Sabbath at 10 AM for Adults, Children, Youth & New Believers.
