Thy Will Be Done – Week 4

We strive to daily discover God’s will for our life by saturating our mind and our Spirit with the word and wisdom of God. . .

Reference Scriptures: Psalm 119:105-106, Matthew 6:11, Colossians 3:16

The inner life sets the foundation for the outer life. The human mind and spirit are part of the fabulous image of God within humankind. For the believer in Christ, this mind/spirit interaction is not one fed and saturated with fleshly or worldly desires, it is a relation- ship with God, fully saturated with His Word and His wisdom. God’s will becomes clearer and the direction of one’s life becomes more focused, the more the word and wisdom of God become our “daily bread.” As we immerse our thoughts and our inner life with God, He reveals everything we need for every challenge we face.

The peace of God and will of God become the joy of our lives, as we keep our mind stayed upon Him. If we feed our mind with only the words of men and the fleeting thoughts of this world, we will find ourselves unable to think higher thoughts or find the higher ways of God. But, if we feed and totally immerse our inner being in all that God has revealed, we will be able to soar like an eagle high above the mundane and temporary things of this world.

We thank you Lord, for daily revealing to us your will and your way, and we submit to you our every thought unto the obedience of Christ.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. i have sworn, and i will perform it, that i will keep thy righteous judgments.” – Psalm 119:105-106
