Thy Will Be Done – Week 3

We will strive daily to discover God’s will for our lives by living a life that is committed to walking in the Spirit. . .

In living in the Spirit, I will walk first of all in the will of God that has already been revealed for my life. I know for certain that God’s will, can never conflict with his word that has already been revealed. The revealed word of God provides a pathway for my feet to walk. As I live a life in the Spirit my priorities, my hope, my ambition and my dreams are being impacted by the power of God made manifest through my relationship with the Holy Spirit. Returning to heaven, Jesus prayed to His Father, and we were given another comforter upon this earth, a paraclete (advocate), one called along side to help. He came with power and leads and guides in all things. He brings to my remembrance the things that Jesus has said, and gives me power to be all that God has called me to be.

As we walk in the Spirit, our decisions, our aspirations, and our thoughts are impacted by God’s will. Each day we become more sensitive to His Spirit and His will for our lives. The more we are possessed by God’s Spirit, the more sensitive and aware we become of the will of God. As we are baptized in the Holy Spirit, we will commit not only our innermost being, but our actions and lifestyle to a life that adorns holiness and glorifies our father which is in heaven.
